Fascinated by trees, Joos Van Tieghem founded the nursery in 1978. His aim has always been to grow indigenous trees and shrubs in a sustainable way.
About 30 years later, Charles, the eldest son and a qualified master of horticultural science, creates a second tree nursery, which spurs the entire firm on to keep itself up-to-date.
Nurseries Joos grows standard trees 8-10 to 40-45, multi-trunk trees 2m to 8m, fruit trees, pollard trees and solitary bushes.
